Andrea S. Holz, Esq.

A lifelong resident of Howard County, Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.

In 1997, Andrea graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law at the top of her class, earning a Juris Doctorate, cum laude. During her law school career, Andrea managed the Clinical Offices at the University, while also serving as Managing Editor of the Law Forum. She also interned at the Howard County States Attorney’s Office. Andrea published two articles while attending the University of Baltimore School of Law.

After law school, Andrea worked for a few firms, including Abramson & Rand (formerly known as The Law Office of Joel M. Abramson) before becoming a Staff Attorney and then an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maryland, specifically at the Department of Transportation. After taking several years off to raise her family, Andrea was excited to rejoin this practice.

Andrea has experience practicing in many jurisdictions in Maryland and the U.S. District Court, and has tried cases in administrative hearings, district court, and circuit court. She has argued administrative appeals as well. She is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and the Howard County Bar Association. Andrea is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
